College Fantasy Apprentice Week 10
QB Tim Tebow Florida 21.6
WR Golden Tate Notre Dame 17.5
Total= 39.1
Team #2
QB Jimmy Clausen Notre Dame 15
WR/RB Jacquizz Rodgers Oregon State 27.5
Total= 42.5
Wow, we had ourselves a close game this week. The Notre Dame vs. Pitt game got off to a slow start but led to an exciting finish. Clausen and the boys tried to make another fourth quarter comeback after being down 18, Tate scored on an 87 yard punt return but they eventually came up short 27-22.
Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators beat South Carolina 24-14 to become the first undefeated team in the conference since Steve Spurrier's 1996 national championship Gator team. South Carolina scored an early fourth quarter touchdown to take the lead but Florida ended up prevailing. Although Florida is undefeated, they have not been very impressive offensively this year.
Oregon State rolled over Washington 48-21 with the help of two touchdowns and 159 rushing yards from Jacquizz Rodgers.
Normally Tate would be the most likely to go here but his punt return didn't count for any points, so a tough decision was made even tougher. After looking at the schedules for the coming weeks I decided that it would be best to have our final showdown next week. In my opinion Golden Tate and Jacquizz Rodgers have been the best two players all year so... I'm setting up a final showdown for them next week. Tim Tebow and Jimmy Clausen you're fired!
See you guys next week when we will crown our first College Fantasy Apprentice!
