About Me

I'm a 27-year-old fantasy football enthusiast originally from Detroit and now living in Chicago. Yes, I am a Lions fan, and yes it does suck. Why do you think I have so much time to spend on fantasy football? I'm going on my 5th season of fantasy football this year and became the proud owner of some hardware last season. I was also recently hired to be the Senior Writer at FantasyCrowd.com.

NFL Fantasy Apprentice Week 10

Team #1

QB Drew Brees 16
RB Michael Turner 11.1
WR Randy Moss 29.9
WR Calvin Johnson 8.4

Total= 65.4

Team #2

QB Peyton Manning 33
RB Adrian Peterson 26.3
RB Maurice Jones-Drew 20.5

Total= 79.8

In a stunning upset, Team #2 beats Team #1 down a man. A great performance by Peyton Manning in the Sunday night game made all the difference where he threw for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns.

AP ran for another 2 touchdowns and I really feel for all MJD owners as he should've had two scores as well but took on the one yard line to burn valuable time as the Jets had no remaining timeouts. Jones-Drew even apologized to his fantasy owners in the post-game press conference, mentioning that he owns himself as well. I understand that he doing this for his team, but it's this kind of stuff that can get you fired in Fantasy Apprentice. Thankfully for MJD his team came out ahead.

Team #1 saw another good performance from Randy Moss with 2 scores and 179 yards but that's about it. I really expected more out of Drew Brees playing the lowly Rams and Michael Turner ran for 111 yards on only 9 carries before sufffering a high-ankle sprain.

That only leaves my beloved Megatron who scored the least amount of points last week too. CJ had eight receptions for 84 yards, but no touchdowns and at least two drops that I saw. Him and Stafford will works things out eventually but still have a ways to go. The good news is that the Lions play Cleveland next week. The bad news is that Calvin Johnson is fired.
